I would like to welcome you to Armitage Academy. As an independent liberal arts K-8th grade school, Armitage Academy has obtained a legacy of graduating students who have received the finest educational opportunities and continue to be leaders in their high school, college and future careers. A visitor need only walk through the halls to sense the learning, creativity and inspiration that are occurring in each classroom. From kindergarten who take those first steps on a road of limitless potential, to those who leave Armitage and consistently take Honors and Advanced Placement courses in high school, the education received at Armitage Academy is the building block for all that follows.
The faculty entrusted to the learning and development of each child is among the finest and most dedicated individuals in the field of education. They embrace their task of providing the foundation by which students can grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically to their highest potential. Through a solid academic curriculum and a myriad of experiences our studnets develop the skills necessary to be leaders of tomorrow. This curriculum includes the core subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science infused with year long lessons of French, music, art and drama. The health and physical needs of our students are addressed through our own Fitness and Physical Education classes, as well as specific health driven units.
