At Armitage Academy, you’ll discover a vibrant arts education program that not only encourages self-expression but also strengthens students' creative problem solving and critical thinking skills. Through the many opportunities provided by our arts program, students find an outlet for emotional expression, develop cultural awareness, and make connections with the overall human experience.

Our arts program is comprehensive and includes exposure to many different disciplines including visual arts, music and choir, performing arts (both drama and musical theater) and dance.

Music, visual and performing arts are often integrated into the thematic studies of each grade. Our 2nd graders create paper maché replicas of the National Mall in Washington  D.C. during a unit on our nation's capitol. French students use puppetry, songs, and interactive dialogues as part of the learning process. Our 7th graders create a poetry café and perform their poems for a live audience.
